Phoenix Contact release their 2nd generation TRIO power supplies at the Hannover Messe 2015

April 29th, 2015

The new generation of TRIO power supplies are over 40% smaller than the previous generation and among other new features that are now included as standard are the new tool free push-in connections which save on installation time. This series now has dynamic power reserve of 150% of the nominal current for 5 seconds.TRIO 2G

The robust electrical design of this range has a high dielectric strength on all single phase models up to 300VAC and the advanced design of the three phase models means that even if one phase on the input has a permanent failure then the unit will function as normal.

All models have a rugged mechanical design with a vibration resistance up to 4g and shock resistance up to 30g. Along with a high MTBF of up to 3.5 million hours.

The single phase range covers 24V from 3A up to 20A and the three phase range covers 24V from 5A up to 20A. Your advantages Save time and costs, thanks to the push-in connection and narrow design Increase system availability, thanks to dynamic boost with 150% of the nominal current for five seconds Maximum flexibility due to the extensive temperature range from -25°C to +70°C and device start up at -40°C
